Welcome to my channel. I'll be documenting my progress at becoming less dependent on "the grid". Includes projects in solar power and heating, LED lighting, vampire load reduction, cable cutting and other DIY projects that come up. I also like to explore the local area and GeoCache by bicycle.

I've learned a lot about this over the years from other YouTube videos and wanted to give back to the community. Many of these projects are "works in progress", so I may start out showing what I am doing at the present time, but as time allows, I'll try to document what I already have set up.
