Tamalpa Headlands 50k

The Tamalpa Headlands 50k is a classic, old-school, 50k Ultramarathon. It was established in 1995 as the Pt. Reyes 50k by a goup of folks who wanted to run long in the hills and mountains of Marin Ca. Eventually, it found it's final home as the Tamalpa Headlands 50k in 1998. It's become one of the premier 50k trail races in the country with a prize purse of $10,000 and having the distinction of being a USATF championship numerous times.
